O antigo já era rápido para um celular básico e o novo é um pouco melhor. O problema é o seu preço. Pelo valor que a Asus pede nele, ele acaba competindo com celulares mais rápidos que ele. Em benchmarks tivemos um salto considerável comparado ao Max Pro M1. E fica no mesmo nível de outros com plataforma similar. Ele é um pouco melhor que o do modelo anterior, mas tem uma interface antiga que parece que saiu de um smartphone de 2013. O M1 conseguia capturar boas fotos de dia, e isso não mudou. Com o M2 você terá fotos com boas cores e balanço de branco acertado, além de baixo nível de ruídos, mesmo em ambientes fechados. O alcance dinâmico não é muito bom e muitas vezes você terá pontos de luz mais estourados. Isso normalmente acontece com céu ensolarado que tende a sair completamente branco nas fotos. O mesmo acontece com a câmera frontal. Evite tirar selfies contra a luz para não ter uma foto toda estourada. Selfies tiradas abaixo de luz forte também tendem a apresentar grande perda de detalhes, especialmente ao ativar o modo retrato. O M2 continua pecando onde o seu antecessor deixava a desejar, nas fotos noturnas. Mesmo tendo abertura focal maior, as fotos ainda saem escuras e com muitos ruídos. O modo retrato funciona quando há luz. Já em locais mais escuros tende a deixar a foto borrada. A filmadora é capaz de gravar vídeos em 4K com boa qualidade. Seu foco é ágil em locais bem iluminados, mas sofre bastante para focar à noite. Se quiser tirar proveito da estabilização eletrônica terá que filmar apenas em Full HD para ter menos tremidos. Ele captura áudio estéreo e a qualidade sonora é boa para o conjunto entregue. BateriaO Max Pro M2 mantém a mesma generosa bateria de mAh de antes. Podíamos esperar autonomia similar, mas como a tela cresceu, isso acabou sacrificando a autonomia. Ainda assim, ele é capaz de entregar bateria para o dia inteiro de uso com sobra. E se você fizer um uso mais leve é capaz de render dois dias, como promete a Asus. O problema é o tempo de recarga. O M2 leva as mesmas 3 horas do M1 para recarregar totalmente sua bateria. Esse tempo é muito maior que rivais da Motorola e Samsung que até entregam autonomia de bateria superior. SoftwareAssim como seu antecessor, o M2 vem com Android puro. Não estamos falando do Android One presente em alguns recentes lançamentos da Motorola, mas apenas um software mais limpo sem a temida interface ZenUI por cima. Isso significa que aqui você não terá uma penca de bloatwares poluindo a tela inicial do seu celular com diversos serviços e recursos que você jamais usará. Mas ainda assim há alguns apps que vêm pré-instalados pela própria marca, como o rádio FM, gravador de voz, Facebook, Instagram e Messenger. O fato de vir com Android mais puro também tem seu lado negativo. Não há nenhum recurso que ajuda a esconder o entalhe. Assim como o software também não permite forçar que apps, e especialmente jogos, ocupem a tela inteira. A parte mais estranha é que os ícones de Wi-Fi e rede ficam do lado esquerdo do entalhe. Assim sobra pouco espaço para as notificações. Demais ícones com o medidor de bateria e conexões como Bluetooth seguem do lado direito. RivaisComo comentamos, o grande problema do Zenfone Max Pro M2 é seu preço muito salgado. Ele custa mais caro que o Galaxy A50 e Motorola One Vision que são celulares melhores. Os seus verdadeiros rivais seriam o Galaxy M30, Moto G7 Power e Redmi Note 7 que custam menos de mil reais. Em desempenho ele só come poeira para o rival da Xiaomi, empata com o Galaxy M30 e fica bem à frente do G7 Power. Em bateria é o inverso, só ganha do modelo chinês, enquanto rende bem menos tempo que os modelos da Samsung e Motorola. A câmera do Zenfone Max Pro M2 tira boa fotos apenas de dia e peca bastante à noite. Se você quer um celular com câmera que capture boas imagens a qualquer momento, então o Redmi Note 7 é a melhor escolha.
